The special features of the BEKAPLAST™ system are its large, special anchoring knobs that widen out conically on the back of the sheet. They allow for the creation of a mechanical bond between the plastic lining and the concrete and even more, they prevent differential expansion.

Depending on the grade of material used, BEKAPLAST™ can offer special merits in every application:

A large number of specialty material grades are also possible:

  • BEKAPLAST™ HDPE: This polyethylene material is resistant to acids and lyes in a broad range of concentrations. BEKAPLAST™ HDPE can be delivered in an electrically conductive form and is physiologically tolerable.
  • BEKAPLAST™ PP: This material is a highly heat-stabilised polypropylene in accordance with DIN 16971. It features resistance to aqueous salt solutions, alkalis and acids. Long-term temperature resistance lies by almost 90°C.
  • BEKAPLAST™ PVDF: This highly resistant and permeation-proof polyvinylidene fluoride is used particularly often when CHC (chlorinated hydrocarbon) loads are present.
  • BEKAPLAST™ PVC: This high-impact resistant material possesses the highest chemical resistance and excellent rigidity.
